كشفت هيئة الدفاع عن المتهمة وداد بابكر تفاصيل إعادة اعتقالها مرة ثانية في أقل من 24 ساعة وإطلاق سراحها بالضمان العادي بتوجيه من النائب العام.
وقال ممثل الدفاع عن وداد، المحامي هاشم أبو بكر الجعلي إن دولة اللا قانون والفوضى أعادت القبض عليها من قبل لجنة إزالة التمكين وهي في طريقها إلى المستشفى لمراجعة الطبيب. وأشار إلى احتجازها في حراسة لجنة إزالة التمكين بالخرطوم غرب. و
كشف الجعلي بجسب صحيفة السوداني، عدم وجود ما يؤكد ويثبت بمضابط الشرطة اي استمارة تتعلق بالبلاغ او رقمه او تدوين اي مواد اتهام، وأضاف أنهم كهيئة دفاع لا يعلمون من هو الشاكي والمبلغ وماهي أسباب الشكوى. وأوضح الجعلي أن وداد تعاني أوضاعاً صحية حرجة تتعلق بالمسالك البولية والنزيف مما يستدعي مراجعتها للطبيب.
وبحسب الجعلى فإن هيئة الدفاع تعتقد أن المقصود أن تموت المتهمة داخل الحراسة. وأضاف “لو عرضت على اي قاضٍ لأثبت براءاتها بحكم القانون”.
