كشف رئيس شعبة مصدري الصمغ العربي أحمد العنان، عن تراجع صادرات السودان من الصمغ العربي إلى 60%.
وأوضح العنان في تصريح صحفي أن صادرات السودان من الصمغ العربي قبل الحرب، تقريباً في أحسن احوالها تتراوح ما بين 120 إلى 150 ألف طن، بينما تراجعت بعد الحرب في 2023 وانخفضت بنسبة 60% من الكمية السابقة، وتوقع مزيد من الانخفاض في 2024، ورجح أن تكون 40-50%.
وأقر بوجود جملة من الصعوبات التي تواجه عملية إنتاج الصمغ وترحيله أهمها غياب الأمن في أغلب مناطق الحزام، فهي عائق كبير بالنسبة للمنتجين، بالإضافة إلى صعوبة تواجد عمال للطق والجمع بسبب الظروف الراهنة، وأضاف أن من ضمن مشاكل الإنتاج غياب التمويل، وتابع “الآن هنالك غياب كامل لمؤسسات التمويل المصرفية وحتى شركات التمويل بالتالي المنتجين لم يجدوا التمويل لطق الصمغ”.
وأقر بتحديات تواجه التسويق وصعوبة الوصول للبورصات الكبيرة مثل بورصة الأبيض لبيع المنتج بسبب التوترات الأمنية فضلاً عن ارتفاع تكلفة الترحيل.
وأكد العنان تأثير أحداث باب المندب على صادرات الصمغ العربي بصورة كبيرة جداً ، لأنه زاد تكلفة نولون الشحن، بالإضافة إلى تباعد وصول السفن للسودان، مشيراً إلى أنه في السابق كانت هنالك بعض الخطوط الملاحية يكون لديها أسبوعياً باخرة أما الآن تأتي بعد شهرين تقريباً، وأكد أن هذا يؤثر في شحن البضاعة للمستهلكين، فضلاً عن بعد المسافة.
